August is here and there are so many fantastic San Diego events, festivals, & parties to keep you busy all month! We have over 200 in our August calendar here and we are adding more every day. Below are some highlights!

August 6: Culture & Cocktails: Coney Island @ San Diego Museum Of Art | Roller Coaster, Carnival Games, Food & Drink, Music, 6-10PM
Brooklyn’s boardwalk hits the West Coast with “Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland.” “Ride” the famed Cyclone with a roller coaster photo booth & try your hand at a variety of carnival games. Sip on a SKYY Vodka Cotton Candy Cosmo, and sample flavored popcorn, themed mini Sprinkles cupcakes, and sausages from Sausage & Meat. More info.


August 8: One Love 2015 @ Waterfront Park | Charity Yoga Event, Live Music, Yoga Classes, 10AM-1PM
Join us for a day of giving back and taking your yoga off the mat. Your ticket purchase is a donation to support under-served youth locally in San Diego and globally in Nepal, Kenya, Uganda, and India. We are excited to announce DJ Drez and Marti Nikko performing live, with yoga teachers Taylor Harkness, MacKenzie Miller, Kim Bauman, Jaysea Devoe, Heather Peterson, Britta Rael, and last but definitely not least, Andrew Sealy. August 9: CityFest @ Hillcrest Neighborhood | Free, Street Fair, 150,000+ Attendees, Live Music, Food & Drink, Arts & Crafts, Noon-11PM
CityFest takes place in the heart of Hillcrest and is a huge celebration of community spirit through music, arts, crafts, and food and attracts 150,000+ attendees each year. Games, activities, over 250 vendors, live headliner music, a beer garden and much more. More info.


August 13-16: Tiki Oasis | Live Entertainment, Food & Drinks, Classic Car Show, Tiki Activities 
Tiki Oasis is the largest annual Tiki gathering in the world with four nights and three days of live entertainment, vendor marketplace, car show, poolside entertainment, Tiki Tots activities, and symposiums with top experts in history, mixology, music and more. More info.


August 15-16: ArtWalk NTC @ Liberty Station | Free, Art Sale, Live Music, Food & Drink, 10AM-6PM
In its 10th year, ArtWalk NTC @ Liberty Station Celebrates Creativity. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to purchase artwork from more than 175 fine artists, all in a beautiful al fresco setting, plus live music, interactive art for adults and kids, and delicious street food options. August 15: TwainFest @ Old Town San Diego Historic Park | Free, Family-Friendly, Period Activities & Games, Readings & Performances 
Twainfest is a free celebration of Mark Twain and other writers of the 19th century. Hear works by Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Edgar Allan Poe and others, read aloud by San Diego actors. Don’t miss the sack races, ring toss, marbles and other games of the period that will be played on the green.More info.

We’re taking over the Lafayette Swim Club, Pool and Bungalows for a Dive-In Theater and Pool Party! This event will be fundraiser for FILM INDIEGO, a show scheduled to air in the fall on KPBS about the growing local film community.More info.

August 22: Fallbrook – Jazz & Wine Festival @ Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens | Four Stages Of Jazz Music, Artisanal Wines, Food, Gates Open At 4PM
The second annual 2015 Jazz and Wine Festival will satisfy jazz and culinary enthusiasts alike, with a wide variety of artisanal wines, delectable dishes and gifted jazz artists. Four separate stages throughout the gardens will feature musicians unique to their genre, while meandering paths will lead guests to a rich discovery of flora, fauna and sumptuous local fare. August 29: Imperial Avenue Street Festival | Free Community Festival, Live Entertainment, Food & Drink, Arts & Crafts, Noon-8PM
The Imperial Avenue Street Festival blends art and soul in one of San Diego’s most historic and unique neighborhoods. The festival celebrates the rich history, arts and culture of the Greater Logan Heights community. From its rich African-American roots to the strong Latino influence that exists today.
